Owl City

Originally making songs in his basement for his friends as Sky Sailing, Adam Young then discovered synth music and became Owl City, releasing two relatively unpopular albums Maybe I’m Dreaming and Of June before making his hit single β€œFireflies” which made his third album as Owl City, Ocean Eyes a hit.

After this worldwide success he put on two more albums, All Things Bright and Beautiful in 2011, and The Midsummer Station in 2012. In 2014 he released an EP, Ultraviolet, composed of 4 songs whom one would appear on his following album, Mobile Orchestra. Retiring from Owl City in 2016 to focus on Adam Young Scores, a new project made of orchestral soundtracks about historic events, he reappeared in 2017 to tease his upcoming new album Cinematic, with the release of a series of three EPs, called Reel 1 , 2 and 3.
