Sam Ryder (born 25th June, 1989) is a British singer-songwriter. He rose to prominence posting covers on TikTok during the COVID-19 pandemic, and became the most-followed UK artist on the platform by the end of 2020. In 2021 he released his debut EP, ‘The Sun’s Gonna Rise’. He was chosen to represent the United Kingdom at the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 with the song ‘Space Man’, where he placed second.
