DJ Stopme is a renowned Brazilian DJ, living in New York City, with a happy pop electro style that gets people up, shaking their hips and putting the hands in the air. He was resident DJ of the Casa Flor Events, a private event space and at Drops Music Bar, the largest nightclub in Brasilia, elected for 3 years as best dance floor of the city, and Blue Space club in the project Babaloo. While producing remixes of the latest hits of some of the biggest stars.

His version of Kylie Minogue’s Skirt was included as official promo remix and his “Can’t Beat the Feeling (Stopme Champs Elysees Mashup)” was included as a bonus track on her album “Aphrodite.” Lady Gaga’s “Judas (Stopme Sinner Mix)” was included on “Lady Gaga: Judas Remixes” and his “Beyonce Stopme Girlie Mix was released on the “Beyonce Run the World (Girls) Remix” released by paragorn records.

With producer Vodka Blush he played parties with international acclaim artists including Boss n Drama, Gorky, Lovefoxx, Wes, Bonde do Role, João Brasil and for gay pride events throughout Brazil.

I grew up in a small town called Nuneaton with a passion for music. I taught myself how to beat match in my bedroom before I played at a few local clubs and bars to gain experience. I then worked abroad for a season in Ibiza. Next I moved to Manchester where I have worked in various bars in the gay village and also worked at Essential Nightclub. I currently DJ at Queer Bar. I can play a wide range of music types but prefer house music and chart/commercial dance. I have been giving away free mix cds for many years and have recently moved into the digital side of things. My Pop Fusion Mixes blend the popular familiarity of the charts to the more dance floor friendly beats of a bar/club.
