DJ New Music Freak (NMF) is a Chicago-based DJ that specializes in blending the newest EDM sounds with recognizable Pop favorites to create a high energy dance experience everywhere he performs. He currently spins as the Saturday night resident DJ at Phoenix Bar Chicago, an exciting new venue featuring an LED video dance floor and 600 person capacity and a DJ at Progress Bar, one of the premier bars in Chicago’s Boystown neighborhood. As a past resident of Scarlet Bar Chicago and guest DJ at Berlin Nightclub - Chicago and FIVE Nightclub (Madison) DJ NMF has become one of the premier arbiters of electronic music in the Chicago gay scene. In 2012 and 2013 he rocked crowds of over 2,000 attendees at PrideFest Milwaukee and continues to be influential in the event's planning. DJ NMF’s monthly podcast can be found on iTunes and Souncloud and averages over 1,500 plays/downloads each month.

DJ New Music Freak (NMF) is a Chicago-based DJ who has been on the scene since 2011. He has always been a lover of pop and house music and decided to start sharing this love of music on my blog New Music Freak. Over the past two years he has built a loyal fan base by releasing regular Podcasts via iTunes and SoundCloud and has become a Resident DJ at the newest premier clubs in the Chicago "Boystown" area Progress Bar Chicago, and was a Resident DJ at Scarlet Bar Chicago for almost two years from 2011 to 2013. In 2012 and 2013 he performed at Pridefest Milwaukee where he rocked a crowd of over 2,000 people. He also has done guest sets for Strictly Dance Radio, an IDMA Nominated Internet Radio Station. He is looking forward to an exciting end of 2013 where he is looking to play in more Midwest venues. His goal is bring together and infuse the progressive house sounds into pop remixes to create an experience that makes dancers want to move!!
